This is a new FREE service for those of you trying to make money on affiliate programmes. These programmes have a huge income potential for everyone handling them right but are a vast waste of time and efforts for those not aware of their disadvantages and traps.
Since the advantages are obvious, I am going to concentrate on the main disadvantages and how I can help YOU to eliminate them. The point is that what is an advantage on one side, it works as a killing disadvantage on the other side.
1. The decisive negative is the affiliate address
Once you join an affiliate programme, you receive an address like these:
a. http://www.someoneelsesname.com/anothername.html?yourname
The problem starts with ?xxxxx ending. This ending ensures tracking your prospects and consequently your customers and your money. There are several vital negatives, I mention only three:
i) If we look at it as your prospect:
Once you place your ad, your prospect can see that you are a reseller not willing to do much for your business. Why should he/she buy from you? You don't say, and there are thousands exactly the same around.
ii) YOU as an entrepreneur are hidden, no name, no personal address, nothing to create credibility for your customers.
iii) If we look at it as a search engine:
I work as an editor for one of the search engines, and one of the basic rules all of us are required to strictly stick to is to cut off the ?xxxx endings.
I myself don't agree with the policy and consider it very unfair but the search engines are all the same. They don't care what is fair. They care about their business only, and each of them wants to be the best, and they think they won't be if they register one site a hundred times. The result is obvious. Just in case you don't realise:

http://www.someoneelsesname.com/anothername.html, so consequently, IF 'your' page/site ranks well, YOUR prospects come to the affiliate programme owner, NOT YOU, and become his customers, NOT YOURS and YOU will NOT get YOUR money, so YOUR efforts are wasted.
b. http://www.someoneelsesname.com/anothername.html telephone extension: yourcode
The risk here is even bigger. It's in the hands of people=mostly employees, not caring about YOUR business at all (- you don't pay them their salaries). My experience shows that even very honest business owners fail here because simply their employee operators do not require YOURCODE extension, so again YOUR prospects become someone else's customers, and you will end up empty-handed with all your efforts wasted.
2. The duplicated page/site
On joining an affiliate programme, you receive a site selling a product or a service, which is great because you can 'start your business in five minutes'. It's true but another trap is hidden here. Your affiliate site is one of thousands of exactly the same sites. Again, why should the prospect buy from you? You don't say, and it's so easy to go to someone else or straight to the owner.
3. Sites that don't sell.
This one is a bit tricky, and you have to have a bit of experience to tell this one. You can join an affiliate programme selling an excellent product or service, you change the URL to yours, add up your own tracking but still you don't get any money though you attrack thousands of visitors to your site.
The answer is easy and very common: the site doesn't sell. It happens very often because highly professional people in their field (=that's why they have an excellent product or service) in most cases don't know much about internet marketing or marketing at all. And if someone told them that it's sufficient to put up a site with no cost on the Net and they will sell thousands and millions of their product, we have the trap.
The above three are just samples of the disadvantages occurring with all the affiliate programmes and causing that you lose most of your prospects/customers and money and waste your efforts. It definitely doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them. On the contrary, no disandvantage is unsurmountable, and the advantages are much, much bigger and so is your income potential.
