Q: Hi Ken, thanks for letting us interview you. Before we talk about your new lotto club project, tell us a little about your internet background.
Ken: It really all started with the Honest Lotto system back in the early 90's. I first developed the Lotto Link System then, and it sold really well through direct mail. After a couple of year's success with it I wrote a "how-to" manual about my experience and how others could do it--which also sold well. In fact you can still buy it today. Then I went on to sell it over the internet in the mid-90's and sales increased massively. I wrote another, "eBook Secrets" about writing How-To ebooks, and together my manuals have sold around 60,000 copies from myself and other marketers who bought the limited number of Rights like Ken Evoy (MYSS) and Allan Says (The Warriors). I redeveloped the Honest Lotto system to include some improved parts of the system, and this has been enormously popular.
Q: So your Lotto manual is selling well, and now you've developed the Honest Lotto Club. Tell us more about that.
Ken: For many years I had been successfully advising people on how to make money on the internet - mainly by creating and selling their own "how-to" manuals. This avenue is still one of the major income earners for many people, but not everyone is cut out to write a book. After the huge success of the Honest Lotto system, it occurred to me that instead of just selling another system to help my sales partners (affiliates) make more income, I could help them do much more, far more easily. So the Honest Lotto Club was born.
Q. What exactly is the Honest Lotto Club concept?
Ken: It's a private membership site for anyone, not only lotto players. And you don't even have to own my Lotto Link system. Anyone can join for a small monthly fee. This gives them a password entrance to the members-only website, and there they'll find an ever-growing mound of information on winning lotto and playing the game using my Lotto Link system.
Q. How does that website help make your subscribers money?
Ken: My ambition is to help others get a good income from the net - something that is very hard to do nowadays. The amount of spam and questionable money-making schemes has risen to epidemic proportions. It's getting almost impossible to find a venture that is easy to enter and which makes getting a regular income automatic. But the Honest Lotto Club is finally a surefire way for practically anyone to start getting a good income simply by talking up the website to their friends.
Q. So how does the Honest Lotto Club do all that?
Ken: First off, if you're a reseller, or 'referrer' as I prefer to call them, you have no overhead costs. If you have access to a computer to sign up with, and a way of paying a monthly subscription by credit card or online check, you already have everything you need to start a potentially huge online business. Because it's a membership that's being sold, there's no physical product to ship, get lost or returned. There's no office to go to, no staff to employ, no overheads like utilities, travel or bank processing.
Q. Sounds the ideal venture!
Ken: Easily the most profitable idea for my customers I've ever done. And you know what the best part is?. . . there's no SELLING! I've found most people are turned off by selling, asking others for money. No-one likes to do it... it takes an in-your-face attitude that the average guy doesn't like. So when I figured out this way of getting people just to REFER others, this took the whole sales problem issue clean away.
Q. Tell us more about why we don't have to sell anything.
Ken: It's simple. Since you are just referring people to our membership, all you need do is get people to take a look at our Honest Lotto Club website. This does the selling for you! It is persuasive, clearly set out, and shows all the best points in the program quickly and efficiently... everything only a natural-born salesperson with a lot of experience can do.
Q. So all that hassle is taken away from the person - who just refers?
Ken: That's all they need do. Spread the word around. Any way they can find to get their affiliate link in front of a bunch of people is fine. No personal selling, no spouting on about the advantages, no follow-up calls, no nothing!
Q. This is very exciting.
Ken: Yes, and the most exciting part for me is how it can work for almost anyone. Everyone knows a bunch of people from their club, church, hobbies, college buddies. All they need do is say: "Hey, you're interested in earning some part-time cash, right? Why don't you take a look at this website and tell me what you think." Once you get a group of people who sign themselves up this way - you don't have to do a thing - you start getting a regular income with no further effort.
Q. How much income could we get, Ken?
Ken: Everyone is paying a monthly subscription fee to view the Honest Lotto Club website and benefiting from it. A portion of that fee comes back to the person who referred them. You can see that at US$10 referral fee how 10 or 20 or more subscribers could start to make you some serious residual money. You're looking at $200 or $300 a month. If it doesn't look like much now, think what you could earn if you referred just 1 person a day to the Honest Lotto Club. After only a month, you will have added another $300 ongoing income - don't forget that's every month. So now you've got $600 a month. A little more than a month later, with just a person a day, that amount has gone up to $1,000 every month! You are always getting ahead, not falling behind as you would if you are selling 1 item and working to a sales target.
Q. Can you explain residual income again?
Ken: It's simply unearned money that keeps coming in each month as your subscribers pay their fee. I call the process the ONCE/MANY system. You sell the idea ONCE, then get MANY months of income back without doing anything else.
Q. Surely you've got to do some work!
Ken: No, that's the beauty of it. My team does everything, from signing up the new subscribers, to processing their credit cards or online checks, to processing their monthly payments automatically. Absolutely everything. And if the credit card gets rejected for some reason - like an expiry date that hasn't been updated - we do all the work needed to get it organized and the regular payments started again. All this is done seamlessly, without the subscriber or their referrer knowing anything about it.
Q. I can see why you think it's the best kind of income around. It sure looks foolproof. But what happened to the 'working hard for our money' concept?
Ken: This is a different world now. With the Honest Lotto Club membership concept you're actually swapping musclepower for brainpower. Gone are the days when you had to put in a 'hard day's work' in order to get back a living wage. Today you use your contacts and knowledge to springboard and accelerate your income. I think we are going to look back on the days of exchanging hours for dollars as unbelievably inefficient.
