Forex Trading And Home Business

Forex, ie foreign exchange market has become very popular due to its immense size, liquidity, currencies moving in strong trends plus, an easy online access, relatively low starting capital and a big leverage. BUT it's got its pitfalls...

All this is very attractive to many sorts of investors, speculators and also amateur people, especially online success chasers who imagine easy and fast profits. BUT it has its pitfalls and the Internet hype sellers and scammers make the situation even more dangerous.

Forex has enormous profit potential but since there is a substantial leverage involved working both ways, the same is the loss potential - the higher the profits, the higher the risk involved. And that is exactly the core of success in forex which is hidden from people seeking fast online profits.

People lacking basic character streaks like discipline, risk evaluation ability, experience and even basic information and training fall prey to false promises and start trading their last money on forex expecting quick riches.

It is necessary to be aware of the fact that trading currencies is not easy. If it was, no one would lose money and everyone would already be a millionaire. Many traders with years of experience still incur periodic losses. Everyone interested in trading forex must realize that trading takes time to master and there are absolutely no shortcuts to this process.

Yes, of course, it is possible to make it a long-term, profitable and sustainable source of high income and even a proper home business BUT the following are the basic rules for success in forex trading:

1. Discipline: it seems easy but the lack of discipline is the profit killer no 1. It is important to set your own rules and goals and stick to them. Do not panic if not everything goes the way you imagine and strictly keep the rules. One of the basic situations is losses: If you know you can lose only $1000, the discipline will help you stop trading if it happens, and not borrow and go on and on... Also, it is the discipline which helps you avoid magic profit calculations.

2. Responsible risk-taking and risk-evaluation ability: forex trading is an investment method not a casino. It is not possible to invest properly if you are not able to take up a calculated risk, if you are not able to calculate an acceptable risk, and if you are not able to even recognize a risk. The good news is that you can develop this ability.

3. Spare money: never trade your last money, always invest either profit or a reasonable amount of money you can lose. Always behave responsibly and never borrow money to trade.

4. Thorough education and training, incl practical training: it is imperative that before you start trading live, you get proper education and training, that you acquire working knowledge and develop your own working system on which you can build your investment strategies, routines and practice.

5. Never trade in a live-or-die situation or under any stress: many gurus say that you can make instant riches from forex investing your last money. It is one of the biggest lies I ever heard. Unless you feel absolutely comfortable, knowing what you are doing and why, enjoying the trading, you cannot trade successfully. Any stressed, unbalanced or anxious mind and brain is not able to evaluate situations correctly, react competently, and it is a paved road to failure and losses.

6. Always do your homework: another hype you can hear around says that everyone can trade just following someone else's advice and instructions. I can tell you only one word as an answer: rubbish. You must realize that you must be able to evaluate every situation, every trend, every forecast, create all the analysis, follow necessary trends, incl, of course, hearing specialized analysts BUT the decision and the money is yours only, so the responsibility is yours. The better your homework, the higher and more reliable your profits.

7. Learn from your mistakes and remain flexible: you must know that you will make mistakes, you will even lose in some trades but you must be a great trader and you must know it. When you make a mistake you must analyze the situation, find out why it happened and see to it that you will not repeat the same mistake in the future. You must not despair and fall into depression. You must stay positive and simply do better next time.

Plus a little closing note to only make you aware of these important topics which, however, exceed the scope of this basic informational article:

- yet another risk is here: it is vital to choose the right market-maker, big enough to allow you to make full use of currency moves. I stress a market-maker and not a broker,

and also,

- avoid managed accounts.

The Secret Law of Attraction

Well, it’s not really that much of a secret anymore. Many of the cast members of the movie The Secret have been on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, and Ellen. But what is it really?

There are two ways to look at this. One is the way I first learned it and it goes something like this:

We have all heard about goal setting and how it is a great way to get what you want. To do this you have to become crystal clear about what you want, and the more why’s you can attach to your wants, the stronger your desire to accomplish them. This school of thought says that opportunities are all around you at any given time, and you simply don’t see them because you’re focused on getting the kids to school, doing your job well, balancing your checkbook, etc. In other words: every day life.

But have you ever had a headlight in your car go out? Did you notice how many other cars on the road also had a headlight out? This is a part of your brain called the reticular activating device and it helps you to focus on specific things. The truth is there are no more cars on the road with one light on than there were before, you’re simply noticing them.

Want another example? Have you ever decided to buy a certain car then notice them everywhere you went? Same thing.

So, by becoming very clear on the things we want and focusing our attention on them, we start to see things that were there the whole time but went unnoticed because our subconscious mind didn’t know to look for them. And all kinds of opportunities, resources, chance meetings, etc. start to happen for us that move us toward our goals.

This works. I’ve done it myself.

The other school of thought is the quantum physics angle. Don’t nod off on me. This is actually quite fascinating.

According to physicists the subatomic world exists as a wave of probabilities until they are observed (by us). The moment of observation they move from being a probability to becoming a reality (very loose word in the world of quantum physics). It’s like the old philosophical question of the tree falling in the woods. According to this field of science, not only does it not make a sound, it doesn’t even happen.

Okay, I went too far. Please stay with me.

All of these subatomic particles are really little packets of energy. That means that literally everything you see is made up of this same energy. And although you might not be able to see them it doesn’t mean they’re not there. Just as some animals can see infrared light, or hear sounds we can not, (both of these being examples of energy), there is other energy out there we are not aware of.

Again, by focusing our thoughts (energy) on what we desire we are literally sending a vibration out into the world. And what we are attracting back are things with the same vibrational frequency as our dominant thoughts. We are attracting everything into our lives, hence the name The Law of Attraction.

This works too. I’ve done it.

Which isn’t really surprising. Either way you choose to look at it it will work for you. All you have to do is become very clear about what you want, believe and expect that you will receive them (the more why’s, the better), and then get out of your own way and allow them into your life.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!

7 Tips for Product Enhancement to Increase your Sales

Everyone needs to know what business they're in and they need to be able to express that purpose in a few sentences.

Using product enhancement towards helping with your current mission statement, should help determine your business as a leading provider. For ex; if you're a plumber, you're not in the business of plumbing. If you're a carpet cleaner, you're not in the business of carpet cleaning. You're in the business of marketing plumbing or marketing carpet cleaning services.

Your mission statement is what is best for you. You can constantly measure all of your activities then to the mission of your company. You can further measure the success by the success of your clients or customers. The more successful your customers are in getting the benefits from you, the more successful you will be in growing your business.

If you're currently not generating the volume of business you want, your customers aren't purchasing as much as you want them to.

Here's an exercise that you should go through periodically to evaluate ways you can make your product or service better, and thereby either increase sales or extend your product or service life cycle.

Get out a piece of paper and answer the following questions:

1. Write down not what your product or service is, but the need or desire of your target market that you have perceived.

2. Brainstorm other ways to fulfill that need in ways other than through the use of your current product or service.

3. List all the obvious and not so-obvious features of your product or service.

4. Enhance your product or service with alternative ways to fulfill your customer's needs based on the ways you Brainstormed in #2.

5. Identify your USA versus your competitor's and any other alternative products or services.

6. Create five different front and back-end up sell scenarios for each product and service you intend to offer. You can encompass one of these attributes in each sale scenario that you come up with.

7. Determine how best to incorporate incentives for getting your prospects to buy. You want them to buy, buy now, and buy from you.

Don't limit yourself to the list below, but here are some additional ways you can begin. These are reasons customers typically patronize a certain business. Identify major sales advantages that you have over your competition.

Low price Top quality convenient location Friendly employees Knowledgeable employees Nice business surroundings Fair credit or return policy Good selection Convenient hours.

The important thing about running a small business is to know the direction in which you're heading; to know on a day-to-day basis your progress in that very direction; to be aware of what your competitors are doing and to practice good money management at all times. All this will prepare you to recognize potential problems before they arise.

In order to survive with a small business, regardless of the economic climate, it is essential to surround yourself with smart people, and practice sound business management at all times.
