How To Find The Right Info for Success

More and more people seeking online incomes experience
problems with losing money on products that do not help them
solve their situation. These people feel they buy hype and
that the whole Internet is a big scam and they end up
frustrated and in an attempt to want others they spread
false guides and advice on how to recognize scam and hype.
And in fact, the solution is quite easy.
No one can deny the fact that there are millions of products
with thousands of new ones launching every day. Many of them
are great and their authors can really help their audience.
And that's where the catch is: who's their audience.
While they claim that everyone starting on the Net is their
audience, it's simply not true. Most of the gurus or authors
offering help and/or books and services are NOT entrepreneurs
and do NOT know any business basics and do NOT know much
about business generally.
They consider everything they learn a secret. So, they sell
secrets. But the truth is that 99% of all this information
is no secret at all, it's just plain entrepreneurial/business
information. In other words: it's information obvious to every
person with offline business background.
Now we come to the problem.
All people coming to the Net are automatically considered
newbies with no regard to their offline background and are
bombarded with secrets to online success.
Most people owning an offline business and buying all the products
lose huge amounts of money on just general business information
not learning anything to help them move anywhere. And what
they really need is information related to items specific
to the Net only.
So, where is the easy solution I promised?
Three basic tips to avoid money loss and frustration are below:
- 1. Anyone starting online should realize that Internet
business is a standard business as any other, only less
expensive plus unique in the tools it uses and extremely
powerful in its reach. And most of the offline business
knowledge and strategies can be successfully applied.
Fullstop.
- 2. Anyone starting online should know what kind of information
they need. A little example: a person owning an offline
business or a person working in a leading position in a
company will hardly need information on work and time
management, handling stress and stuff like that. But they
may need information related to online security, and they
will definitely need information on any specific online
marketing strategies and related subjects.
- 3. Anyone on the Net for some time seeking ways to improve
their revenues, should first analyze their situation to
see where they're standing before they pay thousands on a
new course. Chances are that they know most of it already.
So, the easiest way to avoid money loss on stuff you don't
need is to know what you want, what you need and what you
buy and from whom. It's not enough to read a hyped sales
letter or jump at a hyped recommendation but it's vital
to learn as much as possible about what you're going to buy
and how it will help solve your specific situation at the
time.
Let's face important facts:
- 1. There are no real secrets. If you come across a strategy
which you don't use yet, it doesn't mean that it is a secret,
it only means that you don't know it, and if it is good
you should consider using it if suitable for your business.
- 2. You cannot succeed in developing a profitable business if
you don't have a working system of your own: it's crucial
that you first develop your own, individual system and
then fill it with your business niche. The truth is that
there are only better or worse individual systems producing
higher or lower incomes depending on their functionality.
I can guarantee that you will not succeed if you only,
blindly copy a system of someone else's and start using
it, not knowing what you're doing, what you should be doing
and why. And yet we witness thousands of people doing
exactly this on the Net every day.
- 3. And if you're still after the secrets. There is one: that
something special which is unique to every individual
successful business added by its owner and really kept
secret by every successful entrepreneur: your active,
highly motivated, creative and passionate personality.
If two do the same, the results are never the same.
Now you know the answer why.

You Are Only 3 Steps Away from Your BIG Dream

It's said less than 3 percent of the people in the world
come close to achieving their true potential. I personally
suspect even that estimate is high.
Why do the other 97 percent settle for so much less?
It is because they do not allow themselves to even imagine
what could be possible in their lives let alone pursue it.
And if you can't imagine it, you'll never create it.
Here's where it all starts...
Every super successful achiever I have ever known has said
the same thing about where true success and achievement
begin: It's in the dreaming of (and commitment to) big,
expansive, seemingly impossible dreams.
There is simply no faster way to dissolve your so-called
personal limitations than to have a really big dream. To
focus on the wonderful life you are creating and the
super achiever you are becoming.
When you begin to create truly big dreams, your self-esteem
and self-confidence begin to soar almost magically. You
immediately feel more confident about your ability to
handle whatever life deals you.
An amazing TRUE story...
One of my former coaching clients is today one of the
highest paid MLM pros in the entire United States. But he
did not start at the top.
After one especially intense mentoring session, Rob (not
his true name) set a goal of doubling his income in the
coming year truly a major goal in this challenging business.
He had no idea how he would accomplish his impossible dream,
but he set a goal of achieving it.
Rob began by absolutely committing to no longer accept any
excuses from himself. He then passionately threw himself
into analyzing his downline business builders his current
bread and butter.
He looked carefully at each business builder, and
discovered that about 20 percent of his downline executives
were creating over 80% of his income. (It's odd, but this
20/80 percent rule seems to pop up again and again in
almost all types of business and life situations.)
Rob's further analysis revealed that he was actually
spending more time and energy on his low-producers than he
was on his important high-producers. In short, he was over
investing in the losers and under investing in his
winners. This discovery shocked him deeply.
We talked it over, and Rob decided to share his findings
with all of his downline executives. He scheduled a tele-
conference, and fully explained his thoughts to his entire
downline business-builder team.
He then explained that from that day forward, he was
redirecting his energy. Although they would all continue to
receive his monthly newsletter -- only his top producers
would receive his personal support and coaching.
In effect, Rob drew a line in the sand. Then he encouraged
all of his serious business builders to follow his lead,
and to only work with their highest producers.
He then redirected his energy to create a very tight and
motivated top executive team. They worked together to
create a profile of the type of business builders they
wanted to attract. Then they jointly invested their energy
and resources into a very focused advertising and marketing
campaign.
They began to dream and put focused action behind their
dream. Rob did not double his money that year. He went
beyond that and increased it 368 percent. And Rob's 20
percent prime business builders did equally well. Plus four
of his previously weaker producers even caught the fever,
and began to excel.
The 3 Steps to achieving a BIG dream...
There are only three secrets to achieving your big dreams:
Clarity, commitment, and focus. Here is how it goes:
Step 1 - The whole process starts with achieving clarity.
You must have clarity about who you are, and exactly what
it is you want to achieve. Like Rob, you may also benefit
from doing a close examination of your priorities. Time is
really what we have in life. Be sure you are investing it
wisely, and in ways that clearly support achieving your
goal.
Step 2 - Commitment is the fuel
that keeps your fire
burning. The stronger your commitment to achieve your goal -
- the more fire and desire and belief you will manifest.
And the more you begin to accomplish the things that are
truly important to you, the stronger your self-confidence
will become. The process feeds itself.
- Energy builds energy
- Belief builds belief
- Commitment builds commitment
Step 3 - Focus is not a casual part of this process. It is absolutely essential that you hold your mental focus on
exactly what you want to be, have, and do. Apply Rob's 20/
80 percent rule to everything you do, and especially to how
you invest your basic life currency - your time.
To summarize...
Here's the strategy I recommend when I help my coaching
clients put their own feet to the fire:
- Allow yourself to dream a really BIG dream
- Balance how you use your time and resources
- Focus on the things that can make a real difference in your
life or business
- Take consistent, focused, committed action
As YOU allow yourself to dream really BIG dreams, you will
find yourself moving closer and closer to achieving your
true potential. This is tremendously exciting and
gratifying.
Along the way you may have to trim-away some activities or
habits that aren't really a good investment of your time
and energy but you will come up stronger and more
successful for it.

Today's Question For "Ask Mike!": How To Motivate A Downline.

Q: Mike, I have no problem with introducing my daily consumable
products to people and having repeat product ordering. We have
a system in place to make this simple. Everyone loves the products!
Most of those who come on board for the business, no matter
how much support I and my upline give, give up! If they're
not making a living in 12months... they're over it! I have
tried in various ways to encourage them, however, duplicating
myself just doesn't happen. Why?
A: That's a great question, and one that EVERY networker with
at least 50 reps will start to wrestle with.
I remember feeling quite guilty... Almost depressed for some
of the people's lack of success on my team. In turn, I started
spending the vast majority of my time developing new websites,
new systems, and new tools in order to help them achieve
the success they said they so badly wanted.
I basically stopped sponsoring all together and got into
the dreaded "management mode", where 90% of my time was
spent on training and tool development.
But the funny part, is that nothing ever changed. It didn't
matter what I did for them. It didn't matter how bad I
wanted "success" for them. The people who were getting
results, continued to do so, while those who were treading
water, kept treading.
Understand this right now: The only thing you can do that
will TRULY help your business and your team members is to
lead by example.
Just do the things that you need to personally do on a daily
basis to build your business - Advertising, Prospecting,
Follow-up, and New Rep orientation. One training call per week
for new reps, tops... Spend more of your time one-on-one
with your producers, and that's it.
Just as it is a sorting game to find new reps, it is a sorting
game to find reps that will work and achieve once they join.
The sad truth is that 90% of those who start a networking
business aren't really serious about becoming self-employed.
They are just looking to "buy some hope", so they can quiet
the voices of discontent in their heads.
Soon enough, they'll find an excuse as to why "it didn't
work for them", and quit.
And there's NOTHING you can do about it - So don't spend
your time and energy worrying about it.
DO NOT cater to their weakness. Do not change your tools if
they are working for you. Do not change your websites if it
is working for you. Do not change your system if it is
working for you - just because it doesn't work for others...
It never will, and it's their issue, not yours.
Build YOUR business. Lead by example, and the right one's
(the few), will follow you. Put your blinders on to everything
and everyone else.
I tolerate ZERO negativity in my life now. Someone sends
an unfriendly email... Adios. They're off my list and out
of my life.
I was at a convention once and I asked a WHALE of a networking
what I needed to do because my downline had gotten stagnant.
(I had basically stopped recruiting). "Find new blood" was
his answer, and he was right. You're not here to save people.
You're here to give them an opportunity to save themselves.
Most won't. And only they can ever change that.
As a business owner, it's much smarter to find "Do-ers" and
leaders than it is to turn people into them (which is basically
impossible without their personal conviction to do so).
It is also VERY important that you leverage LARGE numbers
in your business building efforts, because you won't even
notice the whiners, complainers, and quitters when you're
dealing with thousands of people.
The best way to do that is to start advertising, then build
and maintain a LIST that you drip on over time. Each new
contact will bring new, interested prospects and reps to
the table.
