    There is a very OLD secret to success that is still very applicable today. It is the secret to success in business, in marriage, and in all human interactions. Yet very few people seem to apply its principles. This secret to success stems from a basic human trait that hasn't changed much since the beginning of recorded history. Apply it to your business today for SHOCKINGLY exponential growth.

    What is this ancient secret that still applies today. It's constantly remembering that all people crave appreciation, recognition and importance. People need to know and be reassured that the things they do and are interested in are considered important. They need to know that they are being listened to and that someone cares about what they have to say. Ignoring this principle is why so many marriages grow stale. Failing to apply this principle is why so many online businesses fail.

    But how can this success secret, which is obviously true, be applied in the business world? How can it help grow your online business? How can ignoring this success principle hurt you?

    The internet is so vast that many people natuarally feel that they are being ignored. Their emails aren't responded to, their contributions aren't acknowedged, and they receive very little praise. Make it a habit to answer all of your email as soon as practical. Thank members of your online community for their contributions. Tell those who have helped, inspired or taught you how much help they've been. Just doing these little, simple things will endear you deeply with so many of your online contacts. Why? Because so few others do these little things.

    It still suprises me when someone sends an email thanking me for responding personally or for responding so fast. This tells me that many online business people aren't doing this. It tells me that here is a chance to stand out from the crowd. Standing out from the crowd provides "top of mind" presence. Your online contacts remember who you are and your correspondences with them feel more personal. They are two-way communications. You connect with the other person.

    The danger in failing to recognize the need for and cultivate this habit is that someone else may lure your customers away from you. When you are in need of a product or service which is available from many different sources, who do you buy from? Most-likely it is the person who treated you in a way that made you feel good. They somehow made you feel appreciated and needed. They made you feel important. As a result of them making you feel important you actually enjoyed buying from them. Don't let your competiton feed this need in your customers while you ignore them.

    We are not talking about any type of trickery or manipulation here. We are talking about treating your customers in a way that practically EVERY person wants to be treated. We're talking about you being sensitive enough and smart enough to recognize this need in your customers.

    There you have a secret - a principle in human interaction - practically as old as civilization. Act upon this secret and your business will thrive. Master staying aware of this secret and you will find that all of your interactions will be more fulfilling. It really is a secret to success - one so obvious that most people ignore it.
