  • Get More Sales With Your Sales Messages

    You can get more sales with your sales messages by making sure they always include the following 7 key features.

    1. A Captivating Headline

    Always include a captivating headline at the top of your sales letters and web pages. An enticing headline captures your reader's attention and compels them to read more of your message.

    The most effective headline is a short dramatic statement promising a benefit. For example, "Easy Way to Double Your Sales".

    2. Believable Claims

    If the actual results you can produce for your customers sound too good to be true, they will assume it is not true and they will not buy. Understate any claims that sound exaggerated even if they are true.

    3. Authentic Testimonials

    Testimonials from satisfied customers prove you lived up to your promises in the past. They overcome your prospective customer's skepticism and replace it with confidence in you and the claims you make.

    Develop the habit of asking your customers and clients for testimonials. Then use them in all your marketing efforts. Get permission from your customers to include their real names and addresses with their testimonials. Testimonials from real people are believable. Anonymous testimonials are not.

    4. A Motivating Offer

    Your offer is the only reason people respond to your advertising. They want the "deal" you are promoting (free information, special price, free bonus with order, etc.). Include an enticing offer in every sales message. A strong offer will maximize the number of responses you get.

    5. A Risk-Free Transaction

    Do you know the major reason why people often hesitate to buy something - even if they want or need it? They do not want to risk getting something different than they expect.

    Eliminate this risk by guaranteeing your customer's satisfaction. If you sell products, offer a liberal money back guarantee. If you provide a service, offer to continue working without additional charge until your customer is satisfied with the results. Make the transaction risk-free for your customers and you will get more sales.

    6. A Magnetic "P.S."

    Most prospects glance at the beginning of your web page or sales letter then jump to the end before reading anything in between. Take advantage of this and put something at the end of your message to stimulate their interest. Create it like a second headline - but in the form of a "P.S."

    For example, emphasize your offer, highlight a deadline or dramatize a significant benefit. An effective P.S. reinforces the attention you captured with your headline. Together they motivate prospects to read your entire message.

    7. A Compelling Reason To Buy Now

    People tend to procrastinate after they decide to buy something. As time passes, other things distract them and they forget about you.

    You can avoid losing many of these sales by rewarding customers for taking immediate action and penalizing them if they do not. Give them a compelling reason to accept your offer within a short time - or forfeit the benefit of it. For example, offer a special discount price or a special bonus for ordering before a specific deadline.

    Make sure your sales messages always include all 7 of these key features. They create the most favorable conditions for getting a sale.

    "Millionaire Mentality"

    So let's take a poll here. How many of you walk around all day thinking in the back of your mind that you have a million dollars waiting in the bank for you when you retire? Hmmmm. I didn't see a lot of hands on that one.

    OK. So how many of you think you'll have ANY money in the bank waiting for you when you retire? Hmmmm. Not that many more hands. Well, I'm not here to give you any kind of financial advice. I'm here to change the way you think about money and how you feel inside about that green back dollar! Listen up to this story and I'm sure if you want to emulate it, you will certainly be doing much better than if you don't.

    I ran into a very good friend the other day at a coffee shop I frequent. It's a favorite of hers too. We had a lively conversation to catch up on all the latest happenings in each other's lives. What was fun to hear from her was about her million dollars! I thought to myself, "This woman has a million dollars?" She didn't look like a millionaire, nor did she have the glitzy life style of one. She looks just like you and me, drives a nice regular kind of car, and by all visual appearances looks "normal". So we talked more and she said she has an inheritance in the bank waiting for her. We chatted some more and I realized that she had a job. Makes pretty good money, has a nice place and nice things. Yet there was something about her attitude or aura that set her apart and made her different from all the other people I know; especially when it came to money.

    She goes on these incredible vacations for one to two weeks at a time to exotic places who's names I can't even pronounce, let alone spell correctly. "How does she do it?" I thought to myself. Then "BINGO!" That funny little light bulb came on above my head and I got "en-light-ened".

    The reason she's so relaxed about money, and wonderful vacations happen for her is this: she's not sweating about money! Now let me repeat that again just for the record. She's not sweating about money. OK, time for a pop quiz. In the manifesting world, what does that really mean? I'll tell you. It means that she has no resistance to money coming into her life. I know this woman well and there's always great deals coming to her, people giving her free places to stay in exotic vacation spots, and it just goes on and on. She's not sweating about money, worried about it, or stressing about it. Wow! Would you like to have that state of mind and emotions in you? I know I want more of it! And here's the secret, so listen up: you really don't have to have a real million dollars in the bank to feel this way.

    Now wouldn't you like to have all the feelings and benefits that this woman has, and not have to have the cool mil in the bank first? Works for me! See, the Universe doesn't care if you really have that money in the bank or not. All the Universe does is listen to what you are sending out via your emotions, your thoughts and your internal dialog (self talk). If, in your thoughts or vibration, you are telling the Universe that you "feel" like you have a million dollars in the bank, the Universe responds and says: "OK, we're sending you that prosperity vibration that you're putting out". The Universe doesn't know if you're pretending, playing, or really feeling what you're putting out. It just responds to it. So when it comes to manifesting, it doesn't even have to be real to become your reality. Now isn't that a much more fun way to bring things into your life, rather than sweat and work and slave over a hot stove in that manifesting kitchen of yours?

    So lets wrap it all up. To have a millionaire's mentality without actually having the bucks in the bank, just go into your imagination, which is where all things have their beginning and just get a feel for that emotion of actually having a million dollars in the bank. Get a feeling, a vibration; that emotion of just being able to not sweat about money, about having all the good things you can imagine and just bask in the luxury of that feeling for a few minutes. Ahhhh!

    Now if you do this each and every day for at least ten days, I will assure you, your attitude and view towards money will start to shift and change. And when that happens, just watch and see how at first little things will start coming to you. Let's say maybe you'll find that one thing you really wanted on sale at a great price! You'll have someone pick up the tab for a dinner you thought you'd have to pay for things like that. I can't say how more prosperity will manifest in your life. I'm not you. But I can say that when your emotions or vibration shifts towards money and you have that relaxed attitude towards it, so will your circumstances. Because what you think, speak and feel, and what is in your life experience, is always a match. This is the "Law of Attraction", and it's law. I don't make the rules. I've just learned, studied and experienced them over and over enough now to show you how to make them work for you.
